Co(г). Термодинамические свойства газообразного
кобальта в стандартном состоянии в интервале температур 100 - 10000 К приведены в
табл. Co.
Уровни энергии атома Co, использованные для расчета
термодинамических функций, приведены в табл. Co.3. Эти 337 уровня с суммарным статистическим
весом 2334, лежащие в интервале 0 – 63402 см-1 (т.е. ниже первого
потенциала ионизации атома Co),
принадлежат к валентным электронным конфигурациям …4d74s2 (к этой конфигурации относится основное
электронное состояние атома 4F9/2), ...3d74s4p,...3d74s4d,
...3d84s, ...3d84p, ...3d84d …и ...3d9. Численные
значения уровней энергии и их статистических весов взяты прежде всего из сводки
Шугара и Корлиса [81SUG/COR],
которые выполнили критический анализ результатов спектральных исследований и
составили таблицы уровней энергии Co.
Рекомендованные в [81SUG/COR] данные были дополнены рядом уровней энергии
атома Co, соответствующих
электронным конфигурациям ...3d74s4p и ...3d64s4d. Эти уровни не наблюдались в спектре и их
энергии были оценены Ротом [80ROT].
Всего в расчете термодинамических функций было учтено 78 оцененных уровней с
суммарным статистическим весом 586 и энергией выше 34626 см‑1.
Погрешности в оценке этих уровней могут достигать 300 см‑1,
для экспериментально определенных величин энергии уровней погрешности
составляют 1 – 3 см‑1.
Термодинамические функции Co(г) были вычислены по уравнениям (1.3) - (1.6), (1.9), (1.10), (1.23) - (1.25)
непосредственным суммированием по уровням энергии, приведенным в табл. Co.3.
Погрешности вычисленных
термодинамических функций Co(г)
при Т < 3000 К определяются в основном неточностью
фундаментальных физических постоянных; при более высоких температурах
погрешности увеличиваются из-за ошибок в оценке ненаблюдавшихся уровней
энергии, а также из-за возможной неполноты данных о валентных состояниях атома Co с энергией ниже первого потенциала
ионизации. При температурах, близких к верхнему пределу, возникают ошибки из-за
пренебрежения более высокими состояниями, в том числе ридберговскими
состояниями. Суммарные погрешности в Φ°(T) составляют 0.02, 0.03, 0.1 и 1 Дж×К‑1×моль‑1 соответственно при Т = 298.15, 3000, 6000 и 10000К.
Ранее таблицы термодинамических функций Co(г) вычислялись неоднократно, в том числе в
сводке Хилзенрата и др. [64HIL/MES] (T < 10000K) исправочнике JANAF
[85CHA/DAV] (T < 6000 K). Результаты настоящего расчета хорошо согласуются с величинами,
приведенными в [85CHA/DAV], [64HIL/MES]: максимальные расхождения с данными [64HIL/MES]
составляют 0.01, 0.03 и 0.02 Дж×К‑1×моль‑1 в значениях Φ°(T),
S°(Т) и Сp°(T)
при T = 10000K; соответствующие расхождения с данными
[85CHA/DAV] составляют при T = 6000K
0.002, 0.007 и 0.09 Дж×К‑1×моль‑1 .
Энтальпия образования Co(г):
DfH°(Co,
г, 298.15K) = 424 ± 3кДж×моль‑1,
соответствует принятым энтальпиям образования и сублимации Co(к, ж).
