Major topics to be discussed at the conference:
The Congress will consist of plenary, keynote and oral lectures and poster presentations. The duration of plenary lectures is 45 min, that of keynote one - 30 min and of oral lectures - 20 min (including discussion).
The working language of the Congress is English.
In conjunction with the Congress there will be an exhibition of most recent developments in instrumentation, accessories and literature by manufacturers and distributors.
Scientists involved in all fields of analytical chemistry are invited to submit abstracts giving a brief description of their works.
Abstracts of lectures, contributed papers and posters must be prepared according to the instructions given in Form 1 and should arrive before January 15, 1997. Authors will be informed about acceptance in February 1997.
Abstracts of the plenary and keynote lectures and of all accepted oral presentations and posters will be compiled in the Book of Abstracts which will be received by all participants at the registration.
Abstracts should be sent unfolded and in original and two copies to the Congress Secretariat:

The Organizing Committee has reserved rooms for foreign participants in the hotel Ukraina which is located in the center of Moscow (Kutuzovsky Prosp. 2/1, 10 minutes walk from the Underground Station Kievskaya), in the hotel Akademicheskaya (Underground Station - Oktjabrskaya) and in the Students hotel of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Underground Station - University, further the buses number 1, 113, 119, 661 to the stop The House of Culture of Moscow State University ). with all capitals of the world.
Congress participants will be met at the Sheremet'evo-2. Information
about the date, the number of the flight and the arrival time is to be
sent to the Congress Secretariat before June 1, 1997.
For any occasion, Moscow underground can be reached from the Airport by
buses number 551 or 517.
In order to obtain the visa participants are kindly requested to send to the Organizing Committee their personal data (Form 2) before March 15, 1997.

The abstract should be typewritten on a A4 size paper sheet not more than one page, using the following margins: top 3 cm; bottom 2,5 cm; left/right 3 cm. A letter-quality printer or electric typewriter with carbon ribbon, a typeface of 12 point or larger and single line spacing should be used. Type the title in CAPITAL letters and leave one line between the title and the Authors affiliation(s) below the names. Leave one line between the affiliation(s) and the text.
