OCCUPATION: Professor. Graduated from Rostov-on-Done University (1954); Ph.D. (1958); Dr.Sci. (1965); Corresponding Member (1984) and the Full Member (1987) of the Russian Academy of Science. Kurnakov prize in chemistry from the Russia Academy of Science and Lomonosov prize (twice) from Lomonosov Moscow State University.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS: Chemistry and thermodynamics of solid state reactions, non-stoichiometry of oxides and chalcogenides, chemistry and technology of materials with non-conventional magnetic and electric properties, cryochemical technology of advanced materials. High-temperature superconductors.
