Dr. Svetlana Valentinovna Muginova (Chernetskaya), Division of Analytical Chemistry, Dept. of Chemistry, Moscow State University. Born in 1968 in Ukraine. M.S. from Moscow State University (1991). Ph. D. from the named University (1995), title of her doctoral reseach was ТThe methods of mercury(II), cadmium (II), bismuth(III) determination using horseradish peroxidaseУ (Ph. D. 1995). Now she works as Junior Research Scientist in Laboratory of Kinetic Methods of Analysis. She has over 10 publications. Her scientific work is devoted to development of the enzymatic methods and test-methods in particular for the determination of heavy metals (mercury(II), cadmium(II), bismuth(III) and lead(II)), organomercury compounds in natural waters, soils, biological samples. For these purposes native peroxidase and peroxidase immobilized on different solid surfaces (polymer films, papers, silica and etc.) are used, the aspects of enzyme immobilization are developed, the kinetic and mechanism of enzymatic reactions on surfaces are studied.

Recent publications:
